Job Description U.S. Bank’s Wealth, Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking Product Group has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Senior Banker on U.S. Bank’s Commercial Real Estate Team. The ideal candidate has proven business development experience in the commercial real estate space in addition to having the ability to manage and grow a large, complex loan portfolio. Candidate will be responsible for growing revenue by successfully prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing relationships. This person will be responsible for originating large and complex real estate loans, including: construction loans, bridge loans, permanent loans, lines of credit, etc., while also managing the portfolio credit quality. Candidate should have knowledge and experience with regards to advising clients and prospects on commercial banking ancillary product sets and services and be able to identify and successfully capitalize on cross-sell opportunities and make appropriate referrals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in real estate, finance, accounting or other related fields.
  • Five or more years of commercial real estate/banking experience.

  • Advanced knowledge and experience in commercial real estate loan origination and portfolio management.
  • Proven business development and strategic management skills.
  • Experience with driving successful internal partnerships with deposit/treasury management and payment solutions, syndications, derivatives, wealth management, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Well-developed analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of commercial real estate credit and underwriting.

Responsibilities

  • Growing revenue by successfully prospecting for new business
