About The Position

The position requires an individual with an active DOD Secret Clearance to provide expertise and advisory support in the development, planning, establishment, and implementation of the Combat Air Forces (CAF) Combat Readiness Center (CRC) training and evaluation programs. The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing, developing, and preparing inputs for CRC training program guidance, advising leadership on CRC training programs, and addressing any implementation issues that may arise. This role also involves assisting in the oversight of formal CRC training programs and maintaining the CRC Master Training Lists, which provide specific training guidance for both Initial Qualification Training (IQT) and Continuation Training (CT) programs. The candidate will be expected to provide leadership with training lists upon request and to review, develop, prepare, and publish formal Air Force bi-annual guidance for the training and evaluation of CRC Weapons System (WS) personnel. This includes documentation such as AFI 13-1 CRC Vol 1, CRC Training; AFI 13-1 ACRC, Vol 2, CRC Standards and Evaluation; AFI 13-1 CRC, Vol 3, CRC Organization; and AFTTP 3-3.CRC- CRC Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures, or the most recent documents available. In addition to these responsibilities, the candidate will plan, organize, and conduct CRC training and support conferences, liaising with various divisions including ACC CRC intelligence, weather, airspace, information operations, communications, HQ ACC A5/8/9, and other HQ ACC divisions, as well as HQ Air Force, USAFE, PACAF, and ANG. The role also involves assisting the CRC Functional Management to support the CRC readiness program and actively participating in Syllabus Review events to provide input and changes to the Formal Training Unit (FTU) course syllabi. The candidate will advise leadership on all inputs and changes, review, coordinate, and oversee CRC Standardization Evaluation (Stan Eval) programs and instructions, and develop training requirements including Training Task Lists (TTL), syllabi, and courseware to support CRC IQT and CT programs utilizing Instructional Systems Design (ISD) practices and principles. Furthermore, the candidate will support CRC Training, Standardization, and Evaluation programs by reviewing, developing, and maintaining CAF CRC checklists, Tactics, Techniques, Procedures (TTPs), and the Master Question File (MQF).
