Job Description: The Crating Technician is responsible for the last step in the manufacturing process - preparing our machines for shipment. This position packages equipment in crates to ensure safe delivery within budget and timeframe which ultimately impacts the revenue and long-term profitability of the company. Job Details: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday-Friday Starting pay $18.00 - $21.00 per hour Onsite in Halfmoon, NY

Responsibilities

Crates machines to ensure safe shipping to customers and meets company shrink and damage goal.
Ensures correct parts are shipped at the right quality and with zero damage, 100% of the time.
Keeps appropriate shipping records to ensure machines are tracked and monitored for loss and damage.
Ensures company abides by government standards for overseas shipments, 100% of the time.
Helps maintain inventory of crates to meet company shipping needs, weekly.
Maintains confidentiality of customer information, 100% of the time.
Keeps a neat and organized inventory workspace for safety and efficiency, 100% of the time.
Adheres to company policies and complies with safety standards 100% of the time.
Backup for delivery driver as needed.
