Requirements

• Ability to make mathematic calculations and comprehend decimals.
• Must be able to read blueprints.
• Must be able to make basic adjustments to equipment required to keep process in control.
• Requires lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs; hoists or helpers must be used in excess of that.
• Majority of position requires standing and walking, but bending and stooping are required.
• Requires mental and visual alertness and self-motivation.
• Must be able to work any hours required.
• Must have high school education or equivalent.
• Must be able to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment and setup equipment in the Crating area.
• Identify and locate required tooling and ensure that all work is correct.
• Make arithmetic calculations and read blueprints.
• Understand a bill of material and use measuring devices.
• Use equipment such as squares, saws, nailers, and other related equipment.
• Assist less experienced operators in setting up and troubleshooting problems.
• Execute schedule requirements and promote safety in manufacturing procedures.
• Assist in personnel training as required.
