About The Position

Gas Engine - Crank Polisher Job Overview: Grinding crankshaft rod and main journals using a crankshaft grinding lathe. This is a self-directed position requiring the person to read and understand micrometers to accurately machine the surfaces. Requires positioning crankshaft from a floor rack into the machine and into a floor rack for shipment. Knowing, understanding, and performing machine set-up and preventive maintenance is required. Schedule: Monday - Friday 6:30am-3:00pm Overtime available Qualifications The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs. The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx... 8-10 hours) The ability to use handheld tools such as Handheld mic’s, check for the size of the product, handheld profilometers is a tool to check surface finishes. Standing: continuously Walking: occasionally Sitting: NONE Stooping (forward leaning): occasionally Reaching/Working Overhead: NONE Salary and Benefits: Starting rate $20.00 + based on experience.
