Responsibilities

  • Handle confidential information professionally.
  • Demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude and be self-driven.
  • Provide technical assistance for cranes and hoists.
  • Read and interpret technical documents and electrical schematics.
  • Service motor controls and diagnose electrical problems.
  • Ensure maintenance and preventative maintenance on tools.
  • Inspect and maintain lifting equipment in safe operating condition.
  • Comply with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Complete and submit required paperwork and reports timely.
  • Safeguard company tools and equipment.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights as required.
  • Work extra hours, including overtime and on-call availability.

Requirements

  • Ability to operate yard and shop equipment.
  • Maintain Rigging and Signal Person certification.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Valid State driver’s license and insurable by the company.
  • May require Forklift operator’s license.
  • May require Crane Operator Qualification.
