About The Position

We recruit highly skilled individuals for a variety of disciplines in the construction field. A skilled craft worker is an essential cog in the wheel of any Superior Construction project. Your role within the company will include participation in site safety, protection of the environment, and construction of exciting and challenging projects.

• Previous experience required.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a valid and appropriate state driver’s license prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to read and interpret all load charts and be able to interpret hand and voice signals
• Inspects the condition of the work site prior to crane set up and ensures the crane is in optimal condition/position to perform the lift at its safest possible capacity
• Determines how much material can be lifted safely based upon weather conditions and the capacity of the crane
• Must maintain a current National Commission for the Certification of Crane Operators (NCCCO), National Center for Construction Education Research (NCCER), or other Occupational Knowledgeable in OSHA Regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations
• Keep work area and equipment clean by collecting and disposing of scrap and excess materials.
• Proactively communicate with foreman, superintendent, and coworkers
