About The Position

We are currently seeking a dependable Overhead Crane Operator / Material Handler to support our manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for safely moving materials throughout the facility using overhead cranes and other equipment, ensuring efficient workflow, accurate staging, and on-time production support. Your attention to safety, precision, and organization will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency and product flow.

Requirements

  • Previous overhead crane or material handling experience preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate lifting equipment and understand load capacities.
  • Knowledge of rigging practices and material handling procedures.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and production documentation.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required (up to 60 lbs).

Responsibilities

  • Operate overhead cranes to lift, move, and position materials and components safely.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, racks, and production areas.
  • Stage and transport materials to support production schedules and workflow.
  • Inspect materials for damage and verify quantities against work orders.
  • Maintain proper organization of materials in designated storage areas.
  • Perform routine equipment checks and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Assist with inventory control and material tracking as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper rigging techniques and PPE usage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
