The Crane Operator is responsible to operate overhead cranes to move rail cars in a safe and efficient manner for installation processes. This role involves the installation of interior and exterior components of a railcar, following all overhead Crane/Trackmobile operating rules, regulations, and procedures. The operator must perform required overhead crane movements and Trackmobile operations skillfully and safely, ensuring all car moves and other apparatus are properly manned. Any unusual sounds or noises from the crane operation must be reported immediately to the EPU Manager. Additional duties may be assigned by the EPU Manager, and the operator is expected to assist in reviewing and solving station work problems while maintaining safety, quality, and 5S standards.
