About The Position

The position involves safely operating a crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar, and other materials on a commercial or industrial concrete project. The operator is responsible for daily inspections of the crane's condition and completing safety checklists. Participation in the erection, dismantling, and setup of the crane is also required. Additionally, the operator will assist in calculating load weights and generating critical lift plans. It is essential to perform all assigned roles and responsibilities in the safest possible manner, ensuring a safe, accident-free work environment for all co-workers, customers, clients, and suppliers at all times.

Requirements

• At least 3 years' experience in commercial/industrial projects crane operation
• NCCCO Certified Crane Operator License
• Capable of lifting 90 pounds repetitively

Responsibilities

• Safely operate crane while hoisting formwork, concrete, rebar and other materials on a commercial / industrial concrete project
• Daily inspection of the condition of the crane and complete safety checklists
• Participate in the erection / dismantling / setup of the crane
• Assist in the calculation of load weights and the generation of critical lift plans
• Perform all assigned roles, responsibilities, and related work processes / tasks in the safest possible manner
• Ensure that a safe, accident/incident-free work environment is maintained for all co-workers, customers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times
• Operate other various types of heavy equipment when crane is down or not needed for a period of time
