Able to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime, including call-ins. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 2 Years of Industrial Electrical experience
  • 1 Year of Automation experience

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced automation development experience
  • Knowledge of overhead crane components / operation
  • Motor, motor controls, and AC Drive understanding
  • Four-year Electrical Engineering degree
  • Rockwell Studio / RS Logix experience
  • Siemens Step 7 / TIA Portal experience
  • HMI programming experience (Wonderware / WinCC / Factory Talk / Ignition)
  • PC and Basic Industrial Networking experience
  • PDA analysis
