About The Position

Custom Truck One Source has openings for a highly qualified and motivates Crane Technician. This position will primarily focus on the testing and inspection of new truck mounted construction cranes, buckets, and diggers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES: always Maintain a safe work environment. Perform annual crane, bucket and digger inspections and certifications. Perform any other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Excellent communication skills. Experience in the repair of truck mounted crane products, buckets and diggers. Should be Familiar with hydraulic, mechanical and electrical systems on crane Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must have a valid driver's license. CDL preferred National/Manitowoc/Terex/Altec/Grove experience and training a plus Basic computer knowledge preferred Must have own hand tools Must be able to work overtime and some Saturdays Attention to detail and must possess a strong work ethic Experience reading and interpreting parts lists, manufactures repair Manuals, diagrams and electrical schematics Maintain accurate records Must be able to read and understand crane load charts PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: Ability to use carts, forklifts, hand truck, pallet, jack and equipment of such nature Frequent lifting of 60-100 pounds Ability to walk and stand on concrete and uneven surfaces for at least 8 hours per day Exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.
