About The Position

Repairs, maintains, and installs electrical systems and equipment following all safety procedures, electrical codes, manuals, schematic drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
Demonstrates knowledge of basic grounding and shielding, electricity, and electrical wiring and raceway systems.
Maintains and repairs various types of electrical components.
Uses test equipment, measuring, and alignment tools to perform assigned work tasks.
Plans and coordinates work following appropriate work orders, work permits, and safety instructions.
Performs work activities in a safe and environmentally sound manner.
This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.
The hourly rate for this position is $55.78 and represents Valero’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the expected compensation at the time of this posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications and experience

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of 5 years related electrical experience is required.
• Able and willing to work on-site and in-person, required.
• All successful candidates must be eligible to obtain a TWIC card (Transportation Worker Identification Credential).

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree or technical degree in an electrical field preferred.
