The CRA Qualification Associate will report to the Community Development Qualification Manager and operate as an independent contributor within a highly operational environment. This role is responsible for conducting detailed, transaction-level reviews of diverse loan and investment structures to determine and document CRA eligibility. The Associate must exercise sound judgement in evaluating transactions against regulatory requirements and internal policies, ensuring both the accuracy and volume of work meet rigorous standards. Primary responsibilities include reviewing loan and investment documentation, applying regulatory knowledge to assess CRA reportability, and preparing CRA exam materials and responses to requests. The position also supports process enhancements to improve operational efficiency and adapt to evolving regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, the ability to quickly learn and operate in a nuanced, highly regulated environment, with proven experience performing transactional reviews of loan and investment portfolios. Exposure to community development finance, including programs such as Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) and New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC), is highly valued.
