About The Position

The CRA Officer is responsible for developing and managing the Bank's Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) Program to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves strategic planning, oversight of loan data collection, and participation in due diligence for CRA qualified investments. The CRA Officer serves as a subject matter expert, advising senior management on CRA risks and overseeing regulatory audits and examinations.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in CRA compliance required.
• 3+ years of supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements of CRA for large institutions required.
• Experience managing regulatory examinations required.
• Strong analytical, verbal, and communication skills required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
• Experience with CRA Wiz software required.

Responsibilities

• Manage implementation and oversight of the Bank's CRA Program and enhance processes for compliance with CRA requirements.
• Develop CRA Plans aligned with Bank goals and strategies.
• Monitor CRA performance and recommend actions to address deficiencies.
• Develop and facilitate CRA-related training for staff.
• Oversee the Bank's participation in community programs and initiatives.
• Advise Senior Management on CRA risks related to new or revised products and services.
• Prepare self-assessments to measure CRA performance against Plan goals.
• Create and deliver actionable intelligence regarding CRA performance to track benchmarks.
• Analyze impacts of branch consolidations, openings, and closings on LMI individuals and neighborhoods.
• Participate in the development and negotiation of strategic CRA partnerships.
