About The Position

The CRA Analyst is responsible for supporting the organization’s compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) data collection, analyzing, and reporting requirements. This role ensures the institution meets regulatory requirements while identifying opportunities to better serve low- and moderate-income communities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1–3+ years of experience in banking, compliance, CRA, or data analysis (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools
  • Knowledge of CRA regulations and fair lending practices (preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRA software or compliance tools
  • Familiarity with CRA data and reporting
  • GIS or mapping software experience for community analysis

Responsibilities

  • Assist with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to CRA performance, including lending, investment, and service activities
  • Prepare and maintain CRA reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory examinations
  • Monitor and track CRA-qualified activities to ensure accurate documentation and reporting
  • Assist with CRA exams and audits, including responding to information and documentation request
  • Conduct geographic and demographic analyses to assess community credit needs
  • Support the development and implementation of CRA strategies and initiatives
  • Collaborate with business units to identify and document CRA-eligible activities
  • Maintain knowledge of CRA regulations and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in CRA performance
  • Assist with maintaining the CRA Public File
