This position supervises and participates in the completion of daily operations at the park level regarding visitor services. Areas of responsibility required to complete these operations include planning work strategies, park policies and procedures, supervision of the temporary employee workforce, maintaining a safe recreational environment, acting as the lead law enforcement and emergency response officer at the park, protecting the natural resources, establishing and maintaining mutual response guidelines and open lines of communication with surrounding agencies and private entities.
