There are still lots of open positions. Let's find the one that's right for you.
As a CPU Implementation Silicon Correlation Engineer at Apple, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our cutting-edge CPU designs meet the performance and efficiency targets set during the pre-silicon design phase. This position is pivotal in validating and correlating our physical design points to silicon, which is essential for delivering groundbreaking products to our customers. You will be responsible for analyzing both pre-silicon and post-silicon data to establish a strong correlation between design targets and actual silicon performance. Your work will directly impact the realization of frequencies, voltages, and power targets in the final products we ship. In this role, you will obtain process-related silicon measurement data from product and technology teams, and analyze pre-silicon timing runs to understand margins and relate them to measured silicon parameters. You will collaborate with post-silicon teams to evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of design and methodology features, and analyze post-silicon speed debug data to identify and root cause failing paths. Your expertise will be crucial in driving improvements in our design methodologies and ensuring that our products meet the high standards expected by Apple customers. This position requires a deep understanding of chip design, particularly in CPU design, and proficiency in various programming languages such as Tcl, Perl, and Python. You will also need to possess strong data parsing, analysis, and representation skills to effectively communicate your findings and recommendations to cross-functional teams. Your ability to work collaboratively with teams spanning pre-silicon design, technology, and post-silicon debug will be essential for success in this role.
