This opportunity covers synthesis place and route for blocks over 1 million gates, technology enablement, methodology, construction, floorplanning and integration. There are openings in each of these areas.

Requirements

• Solid understanding of Physical Design tools and flows.
• Experience in high-speed microprocessor designs.
• Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
• Knowledge of current sub-micro technologies.
• Experience leading small technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Join AMD’s CPU Core design team focusing on Physical Design.
• Cover synthesis place and route for blocks over 1 million gates.
• Engage in technology enablement, methodology, construction, floorplanning, and integration.
