This CPS Relationship Manager will manage all relationship management activities for public sector and higher education clients on the west coast, with an emphasis on California. There will also be a high expectation around travel, being available to visit clients in person for the purpose of relationship building and expanding/growing client business with CPS.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10 or more years of relationship management experience.

  • Broad knowledge of bank products and services that result in successfully capitalizing on all opportunities to expand relationships and sales of bank's products.

  • Well-developed written communication and verbal presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Manages all relationship management activities for clients in the assigned business segment and/or geographical region.
  • Grows spend volume and revenue as directed by senior management by successfully prospecting for new business opportunities and retaining and expanding existing customer relationships.
  • Monitors and enhances profitability of all assigned relationships.
  • Manages the non-credit risk for customer portfolio.
  • Sells all bank products groups to existing customers.
  • Sources prospects and develops new customer relationships.
  • Provides consultative advice to customers.
  • Grows portfolios through various program optimization activities.
  • Makes appropriate referrals.
