About The Position

The Certified CPR/First Aid Trainer is responsible for delivering high-quality training sessions to SWHD employees. This role ensures participants gain the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations involving infants, children, and adults.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CPR and Basic First Aid training sessions in accordance with recognized standards (e.g., American Heart Association, American Red Cross).
• Provide instruction on the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and basic first aid techniques.
• Deliver comprehensive training for infants, children, and adults.
• Prepare and organize training materials, equipment, and classroom setup prior to sessions.
• Evaluate participant performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records of training sessions and certifications issued.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines during training.
• Complete hands-on training and practical demonstrations to comply with OSHA standards.
• Stay current on updates to CPR, AED, and First Aid protocols and best practices.
