Requirements
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
- Must pass the bilingual fluency assessment.
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Education, related health field, or a national or international certification in area of expertise
- Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
Nice To Haves
- Certified as an American Heart Association BLS instructor or must become certified within probationary period when teaching CPR.
- Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated knowledge in the use of audiovisual equipment.
- Prior clinical and adult education experience.
Responsibilities
- Professionally provides both English and Spanish instruction to new and expectant parents on a variety of perinatal health issues
