Bennington is the market leading pontoon boat manufacturer and a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries, a Fortune 500 company.  We pride ourselves on delivering a boating experience that’s second to none through our emphasis on innovation, design, product quality, and relentless focus on customer satisfaction.  Our team members live that passion every day and have fueled our growth across 6 buildings in Elkhart, IN.   The Configure Price Quote (CPQ) Specialist is responsible for creating Sales and Pricing rules that support Bennington’s business processes. By partnering with cross functional teams, this role is responsible for providing accurate system data, delivering solid, timely, and robust Rulesets to meet the business requirements and provides a seamless configuration of the CPQ platform and accurate Bill of Material (BOMs) generation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or related technical field desired, but not required, or equivalent qualification or a combination of job-related education
  • 1+ years of CPQ configuration preferred
  • CPQ systems hands on configuration experience required in one of the modern platforms such as Salesforce CPQ, Infor CPQ, Oracle CPQ, Verenia, etc.
  • Strong understanding of CPQ rule sets, testing and implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve goals, results-oriented and self-driven
  • Excellent written & verbal communication within team and cross-functionally
  • Highly organized and effective in managing multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Effective negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Programming experience in JavaScript, Python, or other relevant languages required
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
  • Must be team focused, excellent communicator and collaborative with demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams

Responsibilities

  • Creation of Sales and Pricing rules within CPQ platform
  • Create proof-of-concepts and develop tasks as required in support of current and new projects
  • Build and test CPQ configurator rules
  • Gather functional requirements and implement them within the CPQ platform
  • Provide maintenance of the CPQ platform, including significant numbers of boat models and options
  • Assist with maintaining the Boat Builder website, including a database of 100’s of models with 1000s of configurations
  • Provide root cause analysis and resolution for issues encountered within the CPQ platform as well as Bill of Materials manufacturing rules
  • Identify opportunities for CPQ platform improvement, including automation and simplification of existing Rulesets
  • Assist with building and maintaining system rules and exceptions within the Boat Builder
  • Provide dealers, internal and retail customers with support related to our website, product, and pricing calculations
