About The Position

The position involves performing basic racking and un-racking techniques while actively supporting the department's ability to meet safety, quality, and production requirements. The role includes ensuring consistent quality of production parts by adhering to good manufacturing practices, validating processes, and providing necessary documentation. The individual will participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the department and assist in projects throughout the facility using disciplined problem-solving techniques to support departmental goals.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills with the ability to provide clear instructions and present information effectively.
• Ability to pass basic skills assessment for Microsoft Excel and demonstrate basic skills with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Demonstrate understanding and ability to work with basic mathematical concepts.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Adaptability to a changing work environment and ability to deal with competing demands and unexpected events.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously and follow through on issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work order requirements.
• Identify parts using printed and/or electronic pictures.
• Must be willing to work overtime, when required, including weekends.
• Work directly with Management, Production Support, and Quality department personnel.
• Be trained in the Ultra C-Lean/6s process and ensure department personnel are following the process.
• Participate in the Operator Verification Procedure to ensure compliance.
• Participate in Root Cause and Corrective Actions.
• Maintain good housekeeping in all work areas.
• Adhere to all safety requirements and assist with the enforcement compliance.
• Handle customer supplied product with care.
• Maintain and reinforce ORIZON's quality standards to meet and exceed customer expectations.
• Manage time appropriately so that production, quality, and delivery schedules are met.
• Interact professionally with co-workers and vendors, understand internal customers, and strive to maintain good relations with others.
• Respond quickly to inquiries and follow up as needed.
• Embrace change to ensure overall success of the company.
• Wear any/all PPE including protective gloves and boots, as well as chemical resistant suits and respirators as required.
