Covewood Bartender
About The Position
San Diego Mission Bay Resort is a sprawling 357-room resort, boasting multiple dining options, a beautiful renovated pool, a kids pool, astonishing Bay views, fire pits and so much more. We are excited to welcome a new Bartender to our Mission Bay Family. As a Bartender you create, prepare and serve classic cocktails and exciting new beverages. Your friendly, energetic personality will be the face of the bar and lounge. You will also up-sell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties. We are looking for new team members to work various shifts, AM, PM and weekends to service our various F&B areas. Covewood: Pacific breezes and fire features create an intimate indoor/outdoor atmosphere for indulging in the local bounty at Covewood.
Requirements
- Have experience in a similar size hotel. We look for candidates with full service hotel/restaurant experience, preferable in an upscale independent hotel/restaurant
- Seek to work in a beautiful hotel where you constantly meet new people
- Are eager to learn and take pride in your work
- Are reliable, have a flexible mind-set and like to smile
- Previous bartending or food & beverage experience preferred
- Strong Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high- volume environment
- Team oriented with a positive attitude
