Southwest General Health Center is a 352-bed community hospital located in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. Come join our team! #loveajobthatlovesyouback COURTESY VAN DRIVER POSITION SUMMARY: The Courtesy Van driver is an experienced professional prepared to work with staff and volunteers to promote a quality transportation program for Southwest General. The driver transports customers to and from SWG and off site campuses from our taxing district (service areas). Operates the handicapped wheelchair van safely, providing excellent customer service, securing it properly with each use. Assists office with client intakes, scheduling and record keeping.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Two (2) years of work experience in hospitals or healthcare preferred but not required.
Clear written and verbal skills, critical thinking skills, and customer service skills are all essential to success in this role.
Valid driver’s license and insurance (while driving vans covered under hospital insurance) required, with minimal driving infractions.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience with volunteers is helpful.
Looking for a team player that is willing to be flexible with schedules to meet department and organizational needs.
