About The Position

The Courtesy Patrol Volunteer position at Arizona Snowbowl is a seasonal role starting in December 2025. Volunteers will assist guests and Ski Patrol by providing directions, answering questions, and offering help in accordance with Snowbowl policies and procedures. The role involves educating guests about the rules of the mountain and the 'Responsibility Code'. Each shift will include both outdoor and indoor time, and volunteers must commit to 5 or more 5-hour shifts per month.

Requirements

• Ability to work outside in potentially harsh conditions.
• Proper attire to safely navigate and stay warm in snowy conditions, including ski or snowboard equipment, warm winter jacket, gloves, hat, and waterproof or resistant pants.
• Knowledge of all Arizona Snowbowl facilities and services.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good observational and awareness skills.
• Familiarity and compliance with the Arizona Snowbowl Employee Handbook.
• Strong intermediate ski/riding skills.
• Ability to learn radio protocols and procedures.
• Commitment to 5 or more 5-hour shifts per month.

Responsibilities
