About The Position

Join our Raymond Team as a Courtesy Driver! The Role: We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Courtesy Driver who brings professionalism and expertise to the table. In this role, you'll perform a variety of driving tasks while collaborating with a dynamic and diverse team to achieve shared goals. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid New York State driver's license and clean driving record at time of hire.
  • Ability to obtain CDL Class B license within 1 year of employment.
  • Two years of related work experience.
  • Professional and courteous.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid operator's licesnse which is recognized by the State of New York and is a minimum class 5 driver's license.
  • Maintain a safe driving record. Motor vehicle records are subject to review by insurance carrier.

  • Must be able to work in a state of alertness and a safe manner.
  • Follow all applicable driving laws.
  • Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS, Smartphone apps, or physical maps.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Tools and email systems.
  • Ability to maintain basic logs and records.
  • Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and complete efficient delivery and pick up route for the scheduled day.
  • Transport passengers to and from various locations to include routine trips to NYC area airports.
  • Pick up and deliver parcels to/from correct locations, obtaining signatures and proof of delivery.
  • Maintains basic vehicle records (mileage, deliveries, maintenance), ensuring fleet vehicles receive basic service according to maintenance schedule and accurately reporting larger service/maintenance needs to supervisor.
  • Conduct routine visual inspections of fleet vehicles and document/report any findings
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers up to executive levels.
  • Complete other tasks as assigned when there are no driving assignments, inclusive of but not limited to: General Building Maintenance Light custodial duties Snow removal for sidewalks/entrances at multiple sites Landscaping (mowing, tree trimming, site cleanup)
