About The Position

As a Courtesy Clerk, you will greet and thank customers as they shop in the store, maintaining an atmosphere of focused, enthusiastic, friendly, and courteous service. You will assist customers with product location, bagging orders, and providing carry-out service. Your responsibilities will include obtaining or exchanging products per customer requests, verifying prices, and returning merchandise from the check stand area to the display area in compliance with company policies. You will also be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in various areas of the store, completing necessary logs, and operating equipment as required. This position requires performing all job duties with honesty and integrity in compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic reading and oral communication skills.
• Sufficient visual acuity to read labels and shelf tags.
• Ability to lift and maneuver objects up to approximately 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity skills and good eye-hand coordination.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move rapidly for extended periods.
• Knowledge of product location and proper bagging procedures.
• Mental alertness to ensure safe completion of work activities.

Responsibilities

• Complete sweep log and restroom cleaning log as necessary.
• Operate bailer, compacter, and electric pallet jack as required.
• Perform all job duties with honesty and integrity.
