Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, ensuring at least five items per bag while preventing damage to contents.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from the bottom of the bascart for checkout.
• Help customers load bags into their cars when requested.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts to return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside the store and in the parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of the store, ensuring a safe environment.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise as needed.
• Understand the store's layout to locate products and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions or accidents to management.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines, practicing preventive maintenance on equipment.
