Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of the bascart for checkout.
• Help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts to return them to designated areas.
• Clean spills and collect trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand the store's layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and notifying management of unsafe conditions or accidents.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Practice preventive maintenance by inspecting equipment and notifying management of any repair needs.
• Create an environment that enables customers to feel welcome and appreciated.
