Responsibilities

• Bag groceries at checkout for customers, ensuring at least five items per bag without damage.
• Assist in removing merchandise from the customer's cart for checkout.
• Help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves and gather shopping carts.
• Clean spills and pick up trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Clean all areas inside and outside of the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand the store layout and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforce safety programs by complying with safety procedures and reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and report any maintenance needs.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers by answering product-related questions.
• Report safety risks, illegal activities, and adhere to all laws and company guidelines.
