The First Judicial District is hiring an Official Stenographic Court Reporter for the Honorable Colleen King. Judge King is chambered in the Scott County Government Center in Shakopee, MN. The anticipated start date for this position is August 4, 2025. This position is full or part time. The actual number of days per week will be established by the Judge and Court Reporter upon hire, with an anticipated range of 2-5 days per week. Part time positions will be coordinated to achieve a full time job share. Court Reporters have the opportunity to capture and preserve the court record while serving the public in a professional capacity through the administration of justice. The First Judicial District operates on a daily calendar system, providing employees the opportunity to report many different types of court proceedings. While the majority of work will be performed in Scott County, some travel throughout the First District will occur.
