About The Position

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) or more years of responsible experience in a moderately complex office or business setting involving the processing of financial, administrative, or legal documents.
  • Any combination of education and experience equivalent to three (3) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide clerical support for the court by processing and managing all case types.
  • Perform data entry and determine the appropriate next steps in multi-step processes.
  • Receipt court fees and reconcile the till.
  • Schedule hearings and trials, accept electronic filings, and review reports related to the status of cases.
  • Scan documents into the case management system and verify the quality of the images.
  • Handle complex transactions involving warrants, attorney appointments, and payment plans.
  • Provide customer service by answering questions from court staff, attorneys, litigants, agencies, and the public.
  • Process juror summonses, deferrals, excusals, and payroll.
  • Adapt assigned tasks to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
