The position serves as a liaison between the WIR program and the judicial system, attorneys, and referral agents. The role involves providing advocacy by accompanying WIR clients on court reviews and functioning within an interdisciplinary team that includes judges, court personnel, law enforcement, probation officers, and other treatment providers. Responsibilities include managing communication flow between the court and agency staff regarding participant status, progress, and follow-up review dates. The individual will attend staff and collaborative meetings to ensure accurate sharing of client information with judges, attorneys, and the ADA. Additionally, the role involves assisting with program referrals, assessments, and program acceptance decisions.
