The Senior Engagement Specialist supports client engagement and service coordination in a behavioral health clinic. This role focuses on outreach, education, and navigation of behavioral health services, working closely with licensed clinicians and community partners to ensure clients and families receive appropriate support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Public Health, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in behavioral health, social services, or community outreach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic documentation systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Bengali, or other languages relevant to client population.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and trauma-informed care.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA and confidentiality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client intakes and assist with service navigation and referrals.
  • Provide supportive counseling and psychoeducation under supervision of licensed staff.
  • Assist in crisis response and de-escalation in collaboration with clinical team.
  • Facilitate workshops and support groups for clients and caregivers.
  • Coordinate care with internal and external providers to ensure continuity of services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and assist with data collection and reporting.
  • Support outreach and engagement efforts to increase access to behavioral health services.
  • Participate in team meetings, trainings, and case reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
