The Courseware Developer position at Lockheed Martin involves developing and modifying training courseware for the F-35 TSSC at the US Navy F-35C Pilot Training Center. This role requires expertise in instructional design and the Learning Content Management System (LCMS), focusing on creating SCORM-compliant modules and ensuring content meets instructional strategies and technical requirements.

  • Modify and maintain F-35 courseware including Electronic Mediated Lecture (EML), Interactive Courseware (ICW), and Pilot Training Aid (PTA) content.
  • Serve as the local expert for Learning Content Management System (LCMS).
  • Collaborate with Media Specialist and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop instructional products.
  • Ensure all content adheres to F-35 courseware and instructional strategy documents.
  • Coordinate with Product Lead and Baseline Coordinator to represent current configuration items on the master list.
  • Manage Training System Problem Report (TSPR) priorities in collaboration with Product Leads.
  • Communicate development status and issues to the Product Lead for accurate metrics.
  • Package and deliver courseware modifications to Product Lead and Baseline Coordinator.
  • Ensure all products follow US English guidelines and are SCORM conformant.
  • F-35 Training System Experience with knowledge of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) principles.
  • Experience in designing and developing training products such as Instructor Guides and Student Guides.
  • Ability to apply adult learning theory and training principles.
  • Technical expertise to develop solutions for complex problems.
  • Experience in applying instructional design best practices.
  • Strong time management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including editing and proofreading.
  • Possess a DoD SECRET Clearance and ability to obtain F-35 Program Access Clearance.
  • Experience with developing Procedural Job Aids using Adobe Captivate.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint as a user.
  • Experience with Multi-Media Design Architecture including Interactivity Level 2 & 3.
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with IBM KeneXa Learning Content Management System (LCMS) as a developer.
  • Familiarity with e-Learning standards, including SCORM requirements.
