About The Position

The position involves driving throughout the city and surrounding areas to ensure timely pickup and delivery of laboratory specimens, supplies, and other items to and from the Hospital. The role includes reviewing the client's specimen request information for accuracy and proper packaging, assisting with sorting client reports, and sorting deliveries according to specimen type and department required. Additionally, the employee is responsible for keeping a daily activity record that indicates the number of trips, destination, arrival/departure times, and the number of requests.

Requirements

• High School graduate or GED equivalent.
• Valid Indiana Operator's license and a good driving history.
• Understanding of the traffic laws of the state of Indiana.
• Ability to read and write at an appropriate level.
• Strong customer service skills.
