About The Position
Gifford is seeking a detail-oriented Courier to join our team. This position is responsible for the timely transportation of interoffice mail, medical equipment, and supplies to community clinics, and other designated locations. The Courier picks up daily USPS mail from the Post Office, sorts, posts, and distributes it throughout the organization. Responsibilities also include delivering mail and supplies to off-site Gifford locations and, as needed, transporting business-related items from hospitals, nursing homes, and vendors. Deliveries are made according to an established schedule, with accuracy and professionalism. The Courier acts as a liaison between community clinics and Materials Management and ensures compliance with all regulations related to the storage and transport of supplies, as confirmed by monthly inspections. Familiarity with commonly used medical terms is required.
