About The Position

Eurofins Environment Testing, with over 50 laboratories and 40 service centers nationwide, offers full-service environmental analysis across all 50 states, supporting public and private clients including DoD, DOE, and municipalities. They provide comprehensive testing for air, water, soil, sediment, tissue, and waste, covering analytes like PFAS, metals, VOCs/SVOCs, and radiochemicals. This Courier position involves driving to multiple locations to pick up environmental samples. The route starts at the West Springfield, MA service center, goes to North Kingstown, RI, then to Elmsford NY, and returns to West Springfield, MA to return the company vehicle. The position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 4:30pm - 12:30am.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Samples will be in coolers packed in ice.
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
  • Must have a valid US drivers license without recent incident.
  • Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties as outlined in the SOP for Couriers.
  • Pick up and deliver samples, bottle orders and report to the laboratory for sign-in and analysis.
  • Count the number of samples when receiving them from clients to make sure that the Chain of Custody and samples match.
  • Verify that samples are not broken or damaged.
  • Receive and sign the Chain of Custody.
  • Ensure that client signs, dates, and records time on the Chain of Custody when releasing samples.
  • Transport samples on ice from client site to the lab, or from our lab to a sub- contracted laboratory.
  • Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols
  • Responsible for quality control of all assignment and completing documents
  • Following and enforcing company health and safety policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
