Courier: On-Call and Part-Time
About The Position
Courier responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: Documenting, packaging and transporting samples in accordance with appropriate project-specific sampling and analysis plans/protocols Maintaining quality control of all assignments and completing documents in a timely manner Following and enforcing company health and safety policies Following technical instructions and guidance Long distance driving and night driving, as needed Routes may include driving into New York City, Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Pittsburgh Routes will be a maximum of 250 miles from Lancaster, PA Additional duties as assigned The position is part-time, on an as needed basis. Hours will be as needed throughout the week, with an estimated 15-20 hours/week on average, but hours may fluctuate week to week. Hours could be during the day, evening, or occasionally on weekends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid state issued driver’s license to drive delivery vehicles is required as an employee with driving responsibilities.
- Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
- Must be able to use Smartphone.
- Must be willing and able to drive long distances (4+ hours)
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
