KEY RESPONSIBILITIES The Courier driver is responsible for understanding and following the policies, procedures, and SOPs of the lab , while ensuring that all pick-ups and deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner. D uties include: Participate in daily pick-ups and deliveries of samples to and from AFL , including loading and unloading cargo. Understand the sample flow from our clients to Sample Management and Logistic Specialists . B e familiar with all records and documentation necessary for these activities and ensure accurate documentation of travel assignments. Communicate and interact regularly with clients, the Lead Courier, Sample Management , and other team members. Driv e the company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner and official ly reporting and document ing any safety incidents. P er form inspections and upkeep on Company Vehicle s including checking tire pressure, oil changes and gasoline refills. Ability to meet strict deadlines and think "on one's feet ". Possess f undamental understanding of technology Ability to lift at least 40lbs . Perform other duties as necessary or assigned by the Lead Courier. SCHEDULE AND POSITION TYPE Full Time, 40 hours | Shift: M - F, 9 :00AM – 5 : 3 0PM | Weekends as Needed QUALIFICATIONS Our ideal candidate will be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship and hold a high school diploma or equivalent . Other qualifications include: Valid Driver's License issued in the state of operation (Texas) Possess clean driving record 2 Years of professional driving experience is preferred Basic knowledge of testing laboratory concepts and practices is preferred Ability to work independently and within a team. Requirements

  • Authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License issued in the state of operation (Texas)
  • Possess clean driving record
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong time management and communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 2 Years of professional driving experience is preferred
  • Basic knowledge of testing laboratory concepts and practices is preferred
