About The Position
The Medical Courier is responsible for the transportation of medical items among labs, hospitals, clinics and other healthcare facilities. They manage safe pickups, deliveries, and inventories of medical items from the healthcare facilities. Delivers and picks up patient information, lab samples, medical records, and other related items, and ensures understanding of instructions for each item. Ensures that the documentation is accurate, complete, and corresponds to each item. Maps out route for collections and deliveries, considering special requests, weather and time restrictions. Log mileage and maintenance information on company logbook. Assists with materials management when time allows. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record required
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Previous experience preferred
