About The Position
We currently have an opportunity for a full-time Courier to support our Commercial Division in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This role is essential to our Commercial operations and client service. As a Courier, you are the face of the company , representing MVD Express with professionalism, reliability, and excellent customer service. The Commercial Division Courier is responsible for the safe and timely delivery and pickup of documents, titles, plates, and other materials related to Commercial motor vehicle transactions. This position requires regular travel within Santa Fe and surrounding area. A clean motor vehicle record, strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and professionalism are required. A company vehicle is provided; however, use of a personal vehicle may be required at times. When a personal vehicle is used, mileage is reimbursed at $0.70 per mile .
Requirements
- Must have a valid New Mexico Driver's License
- Clean motor vehicle record (required)
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Full-time availability with flexibility Monday–Friday between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM
- Ability to safely operate a company vehicle
- Willingness to use a personal vehicle when needed
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly
- Strong communication skills
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds
- Must possess the necessary dexterity and fine motor skills to operate standard office equipment, including a telephone, computer, keyboard, printer, fax machine, copier and motor vehicle
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up Commercial Division documents and materials in a timely and professional manner
- Travel within Santa Fe and surrounding area
- Represent the company positively while interacting with Commercial clients, vendors, and partners
- Maintain accuracy and confidentiality of all documents handled
- Ensure deliveries and pickups meet required deadlines
- Operate a company vehicle safely and responsibly
- Use a personal vehicle when necessary, with mileage reimbursement provided
- Perform basic computer tasks including data entry and tracking deliveries
- Communicate clearly with Commercial staff regarding deliveries, issues, or delays
- Maintain organized delivery logs and documentation
- Support Commercial office operations as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
