About The Position

Tanner Clinic has an immediate opening for a Courier. Essential Job Responsibilities: Adheres to set schedule Deliver and pick up lab specimens, the primary responsibility according to a set schedule established by the LAB Pick up and deliver interoffice mail bins, drop bank deposits, post office mail, and central supply or purchasing items. Run STAT labs as required Communicate any issues affecting your vehicle or issues keeping the LABS schedule to the Facilities Coordinator Maintain LAB bags/coolers, devices or ice packs for proper temperatures Keep the vehicle clean inside and out. Do NOT personalize the vehicle Monthly basic vehicle checks Salt satellite entryways as needed. Light snow removal (Seasonal) Sweep satellite entryways as needed. Debris removal (Seasonal) Proper loading and unloading of the vehicle Deliver other items as needed by request Defensive Driver course completed yearly

Requirements

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Courier experience preferred.
Other Requirements: A valid Utah driver’s license is required. No MVR violations. Must be 23 years of age or older to meet company insurance requirements.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job
Communication: All communication follows the appropriate channels
Skills: Good communicator Able to handle stress
Abilities: Adhere to strict delivery/pick up schedule established by the LAB Basic vehicle safety awareness Punctuality a must Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Courier experience preferred.
