About The Position

Operates company vehicles and provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages; to check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service; Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area; Provides related customer service functions; to include the delivery, pick up or shuttle of dangerous goods packages which require the vehicle to be placarded. Performs other duties as assigned. Position is for OLVA Am operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communications skills.
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability & excellent courier methods.
• Must meet & maintain qualifications as outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Must pass all FedEx Express & regulatory/statutory required background checks or security threat assessments.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with traffic safety officials.

Benefits

• Pay: $21.36 Per Hour
• Variable Shift: 4:30 AM - 4:30 PM / Exact Days TBD
