About The Position

The Courier/Swing Driver position at Federal Express Corporation involves operating company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick up of packages. The role requires checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area. Additionally, the position includes related customer service functions and performing other duties as assigned. The work schedule is full-time, Monday through Saturday, with hours from 0700 to 1900, subject to operational needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or G.E.D.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for the type of vehicle assigned.
• Good driving record as outlined in policy.
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.

• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred.
• Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods.
