About The Position

We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and customer-service-oriented Courier/Supply Coordinator with a clean driving record to join our team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, professional, and takes pride in representing the laboratory with clients and internal teams alike. Please click here: https://youtu.be/iMaXUt6s9rg General Physical Requirements: Frequent lifting up to 30 lbs. Occasional lifting of 30-60 lbs. Ability to enter and exit assigned vehicle. Ability to load & unload assigned vehicle, with frequent bending involved. Ability to wear personal protective equipment as needed. Regularly handle potentially infectious samples. Ability to drive assigned vehicle in all types of conditions. OHSA Category: This position performs tasks that involve exposure to blood, body fluids and/or tissues. All employees performing these duties are offered the opportunity to receive the Hepatitis-B vaccination series.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Must provide own vehicle, we do reimburse for mileage
  • Punctuality and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Ability to drive in inclement weather

  • Strong preference for candidates with a consistent employment history and minimal career gaps

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate timely and efficient transportation of medical specimens and supplies.
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and employees.
  • Ensure compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Document operations and complete necessary reports.
  • Order supplies from vendors
  • Fill supply orders for clients
  • Maintain inventory
