About The Position

The Driver/Operator is responsible for the courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages using company vehicles. This role involves checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions. The position requires driving vehicles that are not regulated by section 391 of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages over 50 lbs. with appropriate equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Must be licensed for the type of vehicle assigned.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicles for delivery and pick-up of packages.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service.
• Provide customer service functions related to deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
