Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED and one (1) year of related experience.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Knowledge of vehicle operating procedures.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Ability to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements and practices.
• Ability to log and record information.
• Ability to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Transports passengers in vehicles/shuttle carts designed to carry less than 16 passengers for pick-up and delivery of goods and materials to varying locations.
• Performs operational inspection of vehicle to include tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, water and interior.
• Completes operator's report to provide information on times vehicle is operated, miles driven, number of passengers, types of freight, and/or other applicable data.
• Assists in unloading and loading materials and supplies.
• Maintains applicable files, records, and documentation.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
